Well it has been a while since I asked for you to pray but as the trip get closer and we raise more money it is starting to feel real. I ask that any nerves or anxiety that the girls and even the leaders have will be used by God for the good of this trip.

I ask also that you pray for Karen, she has been left with an even bigger job than she first thought because she had to make sure everything is wheelchair friendly if I was able to go. So I ask that you will pray for her health and well being and that everything works out.

I ask for another prayer for Karen as she pulls the team together both here and when we’re away. To enable a balance between rest time with ministries. Also the admin & finance involved. I pray that through all this she will seek God’s guidance.

I ask you to pray that the team meeting will be productive, fun and worthwhile.

Pray for Diane, John Evans & 7 month old Matthew. As they are our contacts in South Africa and without them none of this would be happening.

We ask that we can raise as much money as we can and that we go above and beyond our target total so that we can fulfil God’s ministries.

I ask you to pray for the programme that we are planning and that it may be full. Pray for Ally at Khula Crèche, where we will run a kids programme. For Louise and Austin at Oribi Bible Camp, we’re we will be doing some maintenance and designing a mural. For Diane as she liaises with both contacts.

I finally ask that you will pray that I will be able to go. I ask you to pray that I will get insurance to allow me to go and that the Lord will direct me and that my ears will be open to listen to his answer.

Prayer Points – June 2011

Now that the final team have been decided we ask that you pray for each and every member, Leaders Catherine, Karen, Leah, Elaine, Audrey, Stacey & Monique and our 9 girls.

We ask for prayer support from the church, as we need the churches support to enable us to hold events and also to facilitate bringing people in.

Pray for support from the parents of the girls going on the trip and that we can keep them as informed as possible. Also give us the ability to answer all their questions and keep any fear they may have at bay.

Pray that we will all work together as a team and that everyone feels involved.

Please pray for are up and coming events and also for our fundraising committee, Stacey and Kelly.

Continue to pray for all the arrangement that are happening; from booking flights, vehicle hire etc.

Prayer for May 2011

Please pray for the team that will be heading out to South Africa next year, by helping to prepare us all for what lays ahead.

Pray for our fundraising, that God will open up opportunities for use to raise funds. Also for all the planning and preparation that is needed for these events to be successful. 

As we put together our travel arrangement, pray that everything will work out smoothly. From booking our flights, vehicle hire and accommodation. 

With a wide range of skills within the team we pray that we can utilise these skills and draw them together to make any project we do successful.
